Stories of Play

Every teacher experiences struggles, victories, and concerns about recess.

These include the nuts and bolts of recess like playground space limitations, adult involvement, and equipment.

Many of you shared your stories and experiences of play.

These stories included struggles, such as conflicts and fights to deep, to solutions, such as breathing exercises.

One theme that came up over and over was engagement—lack of variety of games, unstructured play, and kids not playing actively.
